We're extremely proud to announce that Club President, Paul Cannon, has received an Exemplary Service Award from the Essex FA, recognising his commitment to Leigh Ramblers for more than 20 years.

There is so much that can be said about Paul and his commitment to the Club. From being a player to one of the founders of Leigh Ramblers Youth FC where he was Chairman for many years. Paul then joined the Committee of the senior section and became Club Chairman after he had finished as First Team Manager. He has been our Club President since 2020, and his outstanding commitment has been shown over the years, whether it is leading the club or setting-up the pitch at dawn and in some cases, mowing it!

Paul joins fellow Ramblers Mark Holmes and Gareth Ackery, who have both been recipients of the award in recent years.
